As the Manager Strategy and Insights, you will support the Product Development and Design division by conducting research, analysis, and project coordination to inform product and customer experience initiatives. You will contribute to data collection, market intelligence, reporting, and implementation support, ensuring product development activities are aligned with divisional priorities, commercial viability, and customer expectations.

Some Of The Tasks Include The Following:

Strategic

  • Conduct research and analysis of market trends, customer insights, and competitor benchmarking to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for product roadmaps and investment prioritization.
  • Support the monitoring and reporting of divisional KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the preparation of frameworks and documentation for evaluating product initiatives based on feasibility, value, and impact.

Operational

  • Support and lead the development of inflight product and customer experience strategies, including its long-term visions with relevant SMEs by synthesizing market trends, customer feedback, competitive analysis and financial modelling.
  • Develop and maintain data sources, research libraries, and tools to support strategy and insights work.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to the end-to-end product strategy process, including documentation, and follow-up.
  • Manage the creation, monitoring, and reporting of product and strategic project roadmaps ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
  • Manage and support the operational reviews and steering committees with executives to evaluate progress against strategy. Monitor and mitigate risks / potential providing timely resolution.
  • Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to gather inputs and ensure alignment in research and insights activities.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance against strategic goals and support the implementation of data-driven processes for opportunity sizing, investment analysis, and project evaluation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Engineering, Operations) to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams
  • Continuously scan the external environment for emerging trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors that could influence future product strategy.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Clear communication skills with proficiency in engaging C-level stakeholders and influencing decisions through data-backed narratives
  • Strong cross collaboration skills to align across departments and drive joint outcomes
  • Leading teams through transformation, organizational shifts and new operating models
  • Track record of delivering measurable impact on growth, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in product portfolio management, roadmap planning and prioritization.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring and succession planning
  • Ability to see the product vision, anticipate trends and translate them into long term plans.
  • Understanding of P&L, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and business case development.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions with imperfect information.
