QatarEnergy’s activities and those of its subsidiaries and joint ventures, encompass the entire spectrum of the oil and gas value chain locally, regionally, and internationally. They include the exploration, refining and production, marketing, and sale of oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas liquids (NGL), gas to liquids (GTL) products, refined products, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel and aluminum.
Primary purpose of job
Develop QatarEnergy’s strategic features for all business segments, aiming at aligning its current asset portfolio with QatarEnergy’s Corporate and Business strategies and objectives.
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10 years work experience in various disciplines related to the Oil & Gas industry, with an emphasis on asset portfolio management / assessment, corporate strategy or similar functions.
• Requires strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage inter-department relationships as well as senior management / partners’ executive relationships.
• Excellent problem solving, financial, economic skills as well as ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent oral / written communication skills in English are required. Arabic is a plus.
Education
Bachelor degree in an appropriate engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university. Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) is advantageous.
