As Senior Corporate Planning Analyst – Airline Partnerships, you will play an essential role in the management and optimization of Qatar Airways’ partnerships portfolio. The role includes working within a complex data environment on tasks that will involve research and analysis of market and network opportunities, to support informed decision-making within CP on Airline Partnership strategy. The role also includes working with cross functional departments within the company as well as with partner airlines, on day-to-day functions and ad-hoc tasks, as required.
This role falls under Alliance and Airline Partnership within Corporate Planning.
Key Accountabilities
- Partnership Management and Development
- Unlock value from existing or new partnership, including opportunity identification, business case development and approval, project implementation and ongoing value creation
- Review and amend partnership commercials by ensuring all the codeshare and prorate agreements and other interlineable revenues opportunities with partner airlines are updated and calibrated to optimize QR revenue share.
- Support the promotion, management and organization of all Alliance and Partnership initiatives across the company, both with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse partner performance & KPIs and identify incremental benefits to enhance QR’s network reach and strategic positioning
- Ensure compliance with all Alliance requirements
- Manage ad-hoc requests relating to Alliance or Partnerships both in CP and externally
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholder teams as well as with counterparts with codeshare and interline partners.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on codeshare objectives and processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on codeshare performance and issues.
- Data Analysis
- Perform regular and adhoc analysis with both internal flown data and industry data to identify opportunity and trends.
- Participate in development of partnership KPI metrics and tracking mechanisms.
- Support preparation and monitoring of annual Partnerships targets.
Qualifications
Qualifications – External
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of job related experience with comprehensive understanding of commercial aviation economics, strategic planning and business management
- Experience in Alliances and Partnership business
- Strong knowledge of principles of interline, codeshare and joint businesses
- Familiar with codeshare application process and regulatory requirements
