Purpose

Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple MENA markets for our digital wallet product. Own the media buying strategy, budget allocation, channel mix, and attribution setup, working closely with an outsourced creative agency for asset production. Ensure performance campaigns deliver strong ROAS, drive user acquisition, and support retention goals set by the Growth & Revenue teams

Role Accountabilities

  • Own the performance marketing strategy across 3+ markets, translating company revenue targets and commercial priorities into channel-level acquisition and LTV growth plans.
  • Lead full-funnel media execution across Meta, TikTok, Google, and emerging platforms — with accountability not just for spend, but for business outcomes.
  • Design and implement structured experimentation roadmaps across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, landing experiences, and offers.
  • Own forecasting, budget allocation, and scenario planning, ensuring spend is aligned with revenue targets, seasonality, and market dynamics.
  • Work with product, CRM, data, and commercial teams to build integrated campaigns that drive acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • Brief and manage creative output strategically, using performance data and commercial context to influence messaging, offers, and positioning.
  • Utilize attribution and measurement infrastructure (Adjust/Mixpanel), ensuring accurate tracking, cohort analysis, and incrementality thinking.
  • Produce insight-led performance reviews for leadership, translating data into clear business implications and recommended strategic actions.
  • Operate as a self-starter, proactively identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving execution without waiting for direction.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • % of campaigns hitting target CPA/CAC
  • Volume of quality new users (post-KYC) per market

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years in performance marketing, with at least 3 years owning multi-market or regional strategy — accountable for revenue impact, not just channel metrics.
  • Proven track record scaling mobile apps (acquisition + retention), ideally in fintech or another high-trust, regulated category. Demonstrated ownership of CAC, ROAS, payback, and LTV — not just CPI or installs.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise in Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms — with the ability to both execute and define channel strategy.
  • Deep understanding of mobile attribution (AppsFlyer/Adjust), cohort analysis, incrementality, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel or similar) to connect campaign performance to activation and retention metrics.
  • Strong data fluency: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL, Power BI, or other visualization tools preferred. Ability to independently analyze performance data and extract business insights.
  • Experience managing external teams, freelancers, or agencies, with clear accountability for output quality and performance impact.
  • Self-starter mindset: comfortable operating with ambiguity, identifying growth opportunities independently, and driving initiatives without waiting for direction.
