We are seeking a skilled LAN Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network connectivity. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on networking expertise, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with IT and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain LAN infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and cabling
Configure and manage network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, and basic routing
Monitor LAN performance, availability, and security; identify and resolve network issues
Perform network upgrades, expansions, and capacity planning
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across LAN environments
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
Collaborate with WAN, security, server, and systems teams to support overall IT operations
Ensure compliance with network security policies and best practices
Support users and IT teams with LAN-related technical issues
Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required
