About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing Operational Flight Plans in line with safety standards and Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) regulatory requirements. You will provide the Pilot-in-Command with thorough and professional flight crew briefings covering all significant information that may impact flight operations.
You will also provide airport and route analysis, conduct feasibility checks, and support charter sales enquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for flight scheduling and ensuring operational systems are updated with the latest information.
Other Responsibilities Include
- Approve dispatch techniques in accordance with Flight Dispatch Monitoring and OM-A to meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Optimize aircraft utilization in coordination with Sales and CAMO to maximize profitability.
- Respond efficiently to charter sales enquiries, considering country restrictions and aircraft capabilities.
- Minimize operational disruptions and ensure a swift return to normal operations while protecting revenue.
- Provide optimized flight plans and professional briefings after analyzing all operational conditions.
- Perform operational flight watch to assess changes in conditions that may affect flight safety.
- Support flight crews in decision-making when flights risk deviating from safe operational limits.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and pilots regarding technical defects affecting operations.
- Communicate operational limitations to Integrated Operations Control and Flight Operations Management.
- Conduct route studies, performance calculations, and scheduling for fleet optimization.
- Arrange permits, ground handling, and airport slots for all scheduled flights.
- Support Integrated Operations Control in maintaining cost-effective operations and service excellence.
About You
- Minimum high school or vocational qualification with at least 5 years of job-related experience.
- Possession of a Flight Dispatch License/Certificate or equivalent issued by a regulatory authority or approved institution.
- Thorough knowledge of EASA Air Operations Regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
