About The Role
As a Revenue Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining Qatar Airways’ competitive pricing position across a defined portfolio of markets within a regional scope. Through rigorous analysis and data‑driven decision‑making, you will implement effective pricing and inventory strategies to optimize revenue performance across assigned points of sale (POS) and routes.
This role is integral to achieving targeted Revenue, Passenger Volumes (Pax), Yield, and RASK, while ensuring alignment with broader commercial and network objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain competitive pricing and inventory strategies for a designated portfolio of routes within a complex O&D (Origin & Destination) network.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify and execute actions that optimize key performance metrics : Revenue, Passenger Volume, Yield, RASK
- Determine the optimal mix of local versus connecting traffic flows, balancing volume and yield to achieve network revenue & RASK targets
- Identify seasonal capacity requirements and revenue opportunities, proposing proactive strategies to capture demand.
- Continuously monitor route and POS performance against forecasts, budgets and competitive benchmarks, providing real-time insights and actionable recommendations
- Analyze and incorporate diverse demand drivers into daily decisions, including market trends, competitor pricing/availability, seasonality, macro-economic factors and protect high-yield traffic.
- Manage inventory controls and fare filings to ensure optimal sell-up opportunities and protect high-yield demand
- Execute pricing and inventory actions with precision & speed, adapting to change in market conditions.
- Support senior team members by preparing reports, tracking performance and documenting decisions.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and network planning teams to align RM strategies with broader commercial objectives
- Communicate complex analysis and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications As a Revenue Management Analyst, you will be responsible to
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications; experience with revenue management systems is an advantage.
