Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Medical Equipment Specialist with strong healthcare experience to join our team. In this role, you will support healthcare and hospital projects by coordinating medical equipment-related activities, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and working closely with project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Communicate regularly with project managers, project teams, and clients to provide status updates and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate staff.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.
- Use the Terms of Reference (TOR) to identify client needs and prepare feasibility reports and design proposals.
- Control projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional outcomes.
- Review and check design documents for correctness and conformity with project requirements, specifications, and applicable local and international building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of overall professional experience, including at least 7 years in healthcare and hospital projects.
- Mandatory GCC experience.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar local building codes, including Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), and international building standards.
- Expert knowledge of construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Advanced proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
