Job Purpose:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Spa Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the spa and ensure it remains a haven of wellness and relaxation for our guests. Reporting directly to the Spa Manager, you will help oversee the guest journey, support the spa team, assist with treatment and service coordination, and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Spa Manager in daily spa operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service delivery.
  • Assist in supervising, developing, and motivating a team of spa professionals to achieve outstanding performance.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by managing feedback, resolving concerns, and elevating the guest experience.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of spa treatment menus, wellness packages, and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain compliance with industry best practices, operational standards, and safety protocols.
  • Assist with retail and treatment product inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure all spa areas reflect the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to support seamless guest experiences.
  • Support financial reporting, budgeting, and revenue tracking to achieve spa performance goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies, campaign activities, and guest engagement.
  • Stay current with wellness and spa trends to ensure continued competitiveness and innovation within the spa.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior therapist role within a luxury spa or hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of spa treatments, operations, guest service standards, and wellness trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team.
  • Experience with inventory control, reporting, and spa booking systems preferred.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
  • Certification in spa therapy, spa management, or related field (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; spa management software experience is a plus.
