The Cycle Count Officer will support the fulfilment centre team in maintaining accurate stock levels, organized product placement, and correct system tagging. This is a hands-on warehouse role, suitable for candidates with prior exposure to warehouse or retail operations, including picking, packing, or stock handling. The role will also support day-to-day warehouse activities as required.
🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On Inventory Accuracy & Checks
- Support inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts and spot checks.
- Verify physical stock against system stock and report any mismatches.
- Assist in identifying missing, excess, or damaged items.
Stock Placement & Location Tagging
- Ensure products are placed in the correct, assigned locations.
- Check that shelf labels and system locations match physical placement.
- Maintain clean, organized shelves and storage areas
Barcode & Product Information Support
- Scan products to ensure barcodes are readable and correctly linked in the system.
- Report missing or incorrect barcodes.
- Coordinates with the content or inventory lead to flag incorrect product names or images.
Warehouse Operations Support
- Support daily warehouse activities when required, including:
- Picking and packing of orders
- Inbounding and put-away of stock
- Dispatch support
- Display and shelf replenishment
- RTV (Return to Vendor) handling
- Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines at all times.
Additional Supporting Responsibilities
- Assist during inventory audits and stock verification exercises.
- Help ensure new products are correctly set up before being made available for sale.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Report operational or inventory-related issues to the supervisor promptly.
🧙♂️ The Magic You Bring
- Prior experience in warehouse, retail, store, or fulfilment centre operations is preferred.
- Comfortable with manual work, scanning items, and following processes.
- Basic understanding of inventory handling and stock movement is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn inventory systems and procedures.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Team player with a positive and responsible attitude.
