We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Marketing Team as a Creative Copywriter in Doha
In this role, you will play a significant part in producing high-quality written creative across multiple platforms. This entails everything from coming up with campaign ideas & activations; film and radio scripts; campaign headlines and accompanying copy. This role requires a combination of conceptual thinking, brand sensitivity, and executional precision. Working as part of an integrated creative team within Qatar Airways’ Creative Service team and part of its wider marketing department. As a creative Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing clear and compelling messaging that supports strategic objectives, enhances brand voice, and resonates with target audiences.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Write and edit copy for a wide range of deliverables including (but not limited to) campaign headlines, social content, web copy, scripts, email marketing, pitch materials, and digital advertising.
- Develop creative concepts in collaboration with the Manager of Brand Creative & Strategy, other creatives and account leads and maintain consistency of tone, language, and voice across client communications, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Transform complex ideas into simple, compelling messaging suitable for diverse audiences and formats.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development sessions to contribute strengthening overall campaign direction.
- Respond constructively to internal and client feedback, revise work accordingly to enhance copy quality, relevance and strategic alignment.
- Proofread and fact-check copy to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Stay updated on language trends, content best practices, and industry innovations to ensure all copy remains relevant effective and competitive within the digital landscape.
Qualifications
About you
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Eg: Business Administration in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or any related field)
- Minimum 3-4 years professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house creative environment
- Excellent command of English: grammar, tone, syntax, and narrative flow
- Ability to interpret briefs and respond creatively within strategic frameworks
- Strong conceptual and collaborative skills; confident contributing to idea development
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously
