About The Role:
As Communications Manager under Cabin Services, you are responsible for leading the strategic communication initiatives within the Cabin Services Division, ensuring that communication efforts support the division’s overall goals. You will develop and execute communication strategies that keep all stakeholders aligned, turning business priorities into clear and actionable communication plans. You will also oversee the delivery of timely and accurate content to keep cabin crew informed of policies, procedures, and operational updates.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen crew engagement touchpoints and ensure effective two-way communication.
- Lead the development of sensitive, high-impact, or time-critical communications, ensuring they align with leadership direction and operational realities.
- Support Leadership during periods of operational disruption or heightened activity by coordinating timely and consistent internal communications.
- Translate operational, policy, and procedural changes into clear, crew-ready communications that support understanding, adoption, and operational readiness.
- Establish and maintain structured feedback mechanisms to gather crew insights, analyze sentiment, and turn feedback into actionable communication enhancements.
- Take responsibility for your own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
- Ensure that all uses, disclosures, and requests for information (in any form) comply with the data protection principles adopted by the QR group and are limited to what is reasonably required to fulfil intended business purposes.
- Perform other departmental duties related to his/her position as directed by Head of the Department
Qualifications About You:
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and experienced professional to join our Cabin Services Team.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years job-related experience, OR a High School/Vocational/Diploma Certificate with a minimum of 7 years job-related experience.
- Strong background in strategic communications or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy support, corporate communication, or content development.
- Proven ability to create targeted content and articulate complex information.
- Experience in using graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, or similar) preferably within the aviation or similar industry.
- Excellent written and spoken English/Arabic communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and business communication tools.
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms.
