Parsons is looking for an talented AI/ML Data Specialist to join our team!

In this role you will get to oversee and manage the delivery of AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions within a large-scale Smart City program, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical oversight of AI/ML solution design and implementation within the Smart City platform.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the Master System Integrator (MSI) and multiple technology providers.
  • Review and validate AI/ML architectures, models, and deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Advise the Client and project teams on AI/ML applications, system enhancements, and integration strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between AI capabilities, Big Data platforms, and overall Smart City architecture.
  • Monitor data governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management practices.
  • Support business case development, concept validation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10 years of professional experience, including 3 years overseeing AI/ML or advanced analytics programs.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, data analytics, and Big Data architectures.
  • Experience managing system integrators and multi-vendor technology environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Data Lake ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and technical review capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with SQL and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in Data Lake architecture deployment (cloud, hybrid, on-prem).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advanced skills in statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and technical reporting.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in Smart City, infrastructure, or large-scale government programs.
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing and IoT-integrated systems.
  • Professional certifications in AI/ML, Cloud, or Project Management (PMP/Agile).
  • Strong governance and compliance management experience within PMCM environments.
