We are looking for a meticulous and seasoned Civil Engineer Inspector to join our supervision team. The ideal candidate will possess 7–10 years of project supervision experience within consultancy firms, backed by a solid track record in residential developments and a strong foundation in QA/QC practices. This role is responsible for overseeing on-site works to ensure they meet the required standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, in alignment with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), FIDIC, and local authority guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site works to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and prepare reports on progress, quality, safety, and non-conformities.
  • Monitor and verify contractors’ work progress to ensure timely execution in line with the project schedule.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for civil works.
  • Supervise and check the quality of concrete works, structural elements, finishes, and underground utilities.
  • Coordinate with Resident Engineer, MEP inspectors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical/site issues.
  • Ensure all works adhere to QCS, Ashghal, Municipality, and Civil Defense regulations.
  • Maintain records of inspections, test results, and non-compliance reports.
  • Provide input in value engineering, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Attend site meetings and provide updates on civil works supervision status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 7–10 years of post-contract supervision experience in reputable consultancy firms.
  • Solid track record in residential development
  • Strong QA/QC background and experience in local project supervision are essential.
  • UPDA/MMUP Engineer Registration (Grade A or B) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), FIDIC, and local authority regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Must be Qatar-based with a valid QID
