Job Summary

Responsible for driving origination and growth of Trade Finance business by selling trade and working capital solutions to corporate and enterprise clients. The role focuses on revenue generation, new client acquisition, wallet‑share expansion, and compliant execution of trade transactions.

Key Accountabilities Sales & Origination

  • Originate and grow Trade Finance business across Import LC, Export LC, Guarantees, Standby LC, Collections, and structured trade solutions
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to achieve assigned revenue, volume, and asset targets
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to drive cross‑sell and wallet‑share expansion

Client Coverage

  • Engage with CFOs, Treasurers, and Trade Heads to understand trade and working capital requirements
  • Deliver consultative, solution‑based trade sales aligned to client business needs
  • Support onboarding and activation of new Trade mandates

Deal Structuring & Execution

  • Structure Trade Finance solutions in coordination with Product, Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Compliance
  • Support approvals, documentation, and execution within approved policies and limits
  • Ensure timely execution and post‑transaction support

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary coordination point across internal Trade stakeholders
  • Provide regular pipeline, deal status, and escalation updates to management

Other Accountabilities Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure trade transactions comply with regulatory requirements, KYC, AML, sanctions, and internal policies
  • Maintain portfolio quality and support early risk identification
  • Support audits, reviews, and governance forums

Market Awareness

  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments in Trade Finance
  • Provide market feedback to Product and Management teams

Key Competencies

  • Experience in Trade Finance or Working Capital sales within Transaction or Corporate Banking
  • Strong knowledge of Trade products, documentation, and structures
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Strong execution, coordination, and stakeholder management ability
  • Strong sales orientation with execution discipline
  • Commercial mindset with risk awareness
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client‑centric and solutions‑driven
  • Comfortable working in a target‑driven Transaction Banking environment
  • Strong excel ,power point and analytical skills
  • Advanced English communication skills – verbal and written
  • Advanced excel skills (VBA & macros, Advanced formulae etc.)
  • Advanced MSOffice skills – PowerPoint, Word etc.
  • CDCS / CSDG / CSCF (ICC) certification is desirable

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Administration/ Bachelors degree
  • 8- 10 years in Corporate Trade finance Product & sales – Transaction banking
