Your Day to Day

We are seeking a skilled Saj Maker to join our Ramadan Tent team for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

This is a seasonal position, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in traditional Saj making who can deliver high-quality, authentic products in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

As a Saj Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving freshly made Saj bread and Saj-based items, ensuring authenticity, consistency, and excellent presentation throughout the Ramadan period.

Role Overview

Main responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and cook traditional Saj bread and Saj items live in the Ramadan Tent
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Manage the Saj station efficiently during high-volume service
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper food safety practices
  • Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations

What We Need From You

Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Saj making (essential)
  • Ability to work in a live cooking / guest-facing environment
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Flexible availability throughout the Ramadan period
  • Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
