About Your Role You will plan, manage and effectively deliver Qatar Airways HR projects, with agreed standards and procedures, according to projects schedules and within approved budgets. You will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organization and lead the HR Projects throughout the project phases, from evaluation to proposing concept and design testing to ultimately introducing them successfully into operations.
Strategic
- Build, recommend and execute a detailed project roadmap for HR project goals aimed at ensuring readiness for specified event.
- Co-create & execute project plans focused on successful delivery of the approved plans across HR areas in alignment with all stakeholders & internal departments (e.g. IT, Finance, other Business Divisions etc.).
- Plan, manage and effectively deliver Qatar Airways HR projects.
- Identify, establish and recommend cost effective and sustainable approach to developing projects.
- Engage and discuss strategies with key internal and external stakeholders involved in the projects at all level, ensuring that all plans are executed as per the agreed requirements.
Operational
- Manage stakeholders & partnerships internally across HR and other departments (e.g., IT, Finance, Procurement) to ensure cohesive, timely, seamless, and effective delivery of project goals.
- Manage planning, monitor execution, organize review meetings, work with members from other departments, and remove blockers to keep projects on track
- Create, track, and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare reports for key stakeholders to ensure financial accountability.
- Ensure project issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed, and tracked, using past experience to anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Establish, manage, and govern the HR project management framework, including policies, tools, processes, programs, and forums for consistent application.
- Drive and manage new and ongoing Qatar Airways HR projects under strategic direction, including preliminary business plans, feasibility studies, and cost planning.
Qualifications Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor Degree with minimum 8 years of job related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- Strong Change Management Expertise
- Understanding of HR Processes and Systems
- Experience working with broad diverse teams and senior stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Clarizen).
- Proven experience in Project Management
- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders
- PMP certification will be preferred
