We’re on the lookout for a creative, social-first storyteller to join our award-winning Marketing team at Hilton Doha The Pearl. As our Social Media Executive, you’ll shape how we share our story with the world – bringing to life the energy, people, and experiences of our urban lifestyle resort across every channel. Think beach vibes at Sol, luxe escapes at eforea Spa & Health Club, buzzing nights at our restaurants, bars, lounges, and endless moments worth sharing.
What will I be doing?
- Build creative, culturally relevant social media plans that grow brand reach and positive sentiment through fun and engaging content.
- Co-own content calendars for the hotel and its venues (restaurants, bars, lounges, cafe, and spa), ensuring timely and optimised publishing across platforms (Instagram, Facebook & YouTube).
- Capture photo and video content with confidence, edit to a high standard, and deliver scroll-stopping final assets in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly reports on social media performance, delivering insights and actionable recommendations.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and innovations, bringing fresh ideas and references to enhance our strategy.
- Boost engagement through timely, brand-aligned responses and proactive community management.
- Support influencer collaborations, create behind-the-scenes content, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless execution.
- Analyze competitors and social trends to inform calendars and campaigns.
- Present data-driven results and creative ideas to the wider team, ensuring our social strategy remains innovative and impactful.
- Confidently use social media analytics and tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite Sprinklr – training provided as needed.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, F&B, and spa teams to ensure cohesive messaging and visual consistency.
- Community management – replying to guests’, questions comments and reviews in a timely manner.
- Being aware of communications from the Hilton Social Team when it comes to crisis communications, announcements and social media recommendations
- Following enterprise and brand guidelines and best practices to optimize social media presence, while paying close attention to legal guidelines
What are we looking for? As a Social Media Executive you live and breathe social media, camera-ready, and always one step ahead of the algorithm. You know how to tell a story in 15 seconds, you’re curious about what makes content viral, and you’re not afraid to experiment with new formats. You thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and bring energy, ideas, and a fresh perspective to everything you do.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ demonstrated experience in social media, content, and digital platforms, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, media, agency or creative industries.
- Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) with a portfolio of examples of previous work.
- Skilled in content creation across photo, video, and written formats.
- A natural storyteller with excellent copywriting skills and a flair for visual storytelling.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut, and/or similar editing tools.
- You thrive on collaboration – working seamlessly with our marketing team and internal stakeholders to craft content that delivers impact and drives results.
- Familiar with influencer marketing and experience working with creators or brand ambassadors.
- Exceptionally organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple brands and priorities with ease.
- You’re naturally curious and want to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to the fore – we welcome innovative ideas from all areas of the business.
- Flexibility is key. The role will require working weekends or public holidays to capture moments when our guests are most engaged.
