The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for executing daily purchasing operations across Snoomart’s dark store network. This role ensures accurate and timely replenishment of stock, acts as the key operational link between suppliers and internal teams, and supports the Inventory Head in maintaining high availability and service levels across all categories.

The role demands accuracy, speed, and strong coordination skills to meet the unique requirements of Q-Commerce.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

Ordering & Replenishment

  • Place and follow up on daily purchase orders across assigned categories (Fresh, Grocery, Personal Care, Home Care or Non- foods).
  • Monitor stock levels in systems, flagging shortages, overstocks, and expiries to the Inventory Head.
  • Ensure suppliers deliver correct quantities on time and to Snoomart’s quality standards.

Supplier Coordination

  • Act as the operational link with suppliers for purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, delivery notes, and invoice accuracy.
  • Escalate supply issues (delays, substitutions, shortages) to the Inventory Head for resolution.
  • Track and update delivery confirmations in systems to ensure smooth Finance reconciliation.

Inventory & Service Level Support

  • Work closely with the Inventory Head to:
  • Align daily stock ordering with forecast and availability targets (>85%).
  • Track and report supplier service levels (OTIF, fulfillment %, substitutions, and OOS rates).
  • Provide visibility on supplier performance through regular updates.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate daily/weekly reports on purchase order status, stock availability, and supplier service levels.
  • Highlight risks to availability, overstocks, or system mismatches to the Inventory Head.
  • Maintain up-to-date records to support supplier reviews and inventory planning

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain (FMCG/Retail preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced Q-Commerce environment.
