About the role:

As a Technology Services Controller (Linux Specialist), you will help us these ambitions:

  • Strong experience in Design, Administer and Troubleshoot Linux Server Operating systems, Cloud, Containers and Virtualization technologies and associated hardware/software.
  • Should have a wide knowledge of open-source technologies, enjoy complex problem solving, be self-disciplined, and communicate effectively.
  • Should have skills for deployment of server, developing scripted automation, patch management, supporting server operational activities and ensuring uptime of server infrastructure.
  • Diagnosing, resolving, and delivering root cause analysis for automatic alerts, issues and incidents and ensure right changes to system configuration are followed in line with change management process.
  • Manage inventory and assets management of servers and licenses.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and internal teams involved in both projects and operational maintenance of systems to meet business requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
  • Experience using system automation, orchestration, and management technologies like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Satellite or similar technologies like Puppet, Chef, and Salt.
  • Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks or document procedural run-books.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computers / Communications / Electronics.
  • Certifications related to specific IT Unit such as CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, ISO 20000, RHCSA etc.
  • Experience in supporting servers from HPE, Dell, Cisco, and Lenovo.
  • Experience in supporting Virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with other Linux flavor CentOS, Ubuntu, Fedora SuSE.
  • Experience with Syslog and Audit rules.
  • Experienced with Linux networking and firewalled.
  • Experience with Active directory integration using 2-factor authentication with pam and sssd.
  • Knowledge of security-related best practices. Security+ or ISC2 certifications are a plus.
