Role purpose:

Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the Marketplace requirements and supporting the wider Supply Chain team. Detail-oriented team player with exceptional judgment to manage and grow sales in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with 3+ years of relevant experience who is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced digital/e-commerce environment.

Management of complete Commercial inventory across all Vodafone Stores, Franchised outlets, ERP and related systems. Provides intelligence and monitors SLAs/KPIs through the creation of Dashboards and various Reports. Manages a multitude of stakeholders and mitigates all inventory-related risks.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the marketplace
  • Maintain detailed understanding of the mechanics of all backend tools, processes and systems
  • Consistently monitor and understand competitive pricing landscapes
  • Monitor, analyse and report on marketplace metrics, sales and forecasting
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment, including knowledge of competitive commodities
  • Assist internal stakeholders to drive change, remove roadblocks, and close business
  • Validate Purchase Orders and demonstrate awareness of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process
  • Inventory management for all commercial SKUs for all Vodafone stores and franchised outlets
  • Executes order processing in OMS, updates Wincash and ensures deliveries as per agreed SLAs and Logistics policies, procedures
  • Manages RTWH (Return to Warehouse) for faulty/obsolete/slow-moving stock and transfer of these to the warehouse for final reconciliation and inventory write-off/disposal
  • Ensures de-activation, transfer and disposal of expired & over-scratched Recharge Cards from all locations and timely processing of credit notes for Distributors by Finance
  • Executes all material creation and approval in Oracle system and weekly stock movement transactions uploading into Oracle & reconciliation with warehouse stock balances
  • Performs SCM Reporting (Dashboards, KPIs, SLAs) tracking compliance, performance/KPIs monitoring and Analytics to capture and performance monitor the full SCM operations scope

Skills

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Superior PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Solid functional understanding of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software
  • Solid grip on Budgeting and the budget planning cycle and the end-to-end Procurement process
  • Knowledge of online marketplaces and ability to create, analyse, and comprehend marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting and communication with others
  • Effective communication with external and internal customers
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload and multi-task is essential

  • Ensure excellent stakeholder relations resulting in stable supply
  • Strive to deliver the best commercial terms and reduce risk
  • 0 stock-outs in Retail shops
  • Inventory movement between warehouse and Retail must always reconcile with Wincash. All undesirable stock moved monthly from all stores to the warehouse
  • As per SLA 10 material are creation per day and approval in 72 hours
  • Stock in hand balances reconciled between Oracle & warehouse physical inventory
  • E-pins order processing for all KeyBS orders for Distributors, this includes e-wallet top-ups for credit limit, and E-recharge cards
