The Showroom supervisor is responsible for smooth and efficient functioning of the Consumer Electronics Showrooms, through proper supervision and effectively implementing the sales and marketing activities in the showroom, as per the company’s policies and procedures.

The focus of the position is to manage the showrooms in a way to increase sales and achieve sales targets, enhance customer experience and manage the operations like administration, cash handling, stock movement and other operational activities.

Showroom Operational Management:

  • Ensure that the showroom, products and shelves are immaculately clean with internal and external signage, lighting and all facilities fully operational.
  • Monitor direct sales through showroom and strive to achieve sales targets (through effective supervision of sales showroom sales team).
  • Ensure that all items in the showroom are properly displayed and have the correct labels in English & Arabic with price tags attached to them.
  • Ensure that all sales, invoicing, Items received, Items returned & collection records are clearly maintained & promptly updated in the ERP system.
  • Ensure that the layout of the showroom is according to the standards as per suppliers standards.
  • Implement marketing activities like promotions, bundling, and discounts in the showroom as per company guidelines and pricing.
  • Keep abreast of the competition prices of similar products in the market and inform the Product Team.
  • Must have a proactive approach in ensuring that the items in the showroom are as per the seasonal demand.
  • Ensure that all product demos are in working condition and are available for testing by customers.
  • Closely monitor stock movement for all products of the showroom and plan in a way to eliminate issues of stock shortage (through planned replenishing) or overstocking.

Admin Duties:

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management so as to provide a clear picture of SLOB items (slow and obsolete).
  • Control over physical inventory and provide reconciliation with system records.
  • Reconcile all invoices at the end of the day and deposit cash on time as per Company Policies.

Customer Focus:

  • Monitor the showroom sales team on how they receive and assist customers and ensure that proper dress, timings and customer service protocols are in place and are followed during the business hours.
  • Be well versed with all aspects of all products offered in the showroom, so as to be able to resolve any customer doubts from the customer regarding product specification, competing products etc.
  • Ensure that all customers are provided with proper information about the warranty & return policies.

People Management:

  • Provide guidance and help to any sales person in terms of product knowledge or customer handling.
  • Ensure that all showroom sales staff work as per defined policies and are presentable at all times.
  • Evaluate showroom sales team in terms of their overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Qatar Driver’s License is a must.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge about the products displayed within the showrooms
  • Knowledgeable in Consumer Electronics operations and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills. knowledge of Arabic language is preferable.
  • Ability to easily build rapport and affinity to different customers and their representatives.
  • Can work with minimal supervision and the ability to work, both independently and as part of a team.
