Job Summary

Perform a coordination and control function ensuring that equipment is properly repaired and restored for additional service. Delegate workload, monitor activity and provide technical assistance to the respective service group.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
  • Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Manage budget and expenditures.
  • Complete service/repair transactions.
  • Complete requisitions for needed supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure service customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Facility/Group-specific Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with PLMs, Sales, Engineering and Regional Aftermarket groups to understand, measure, and grow market share within regions and globally.
  • Interface directly with customers to deploy products and deliver/sustain services using analysis tools and portals.
  • Prepare financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Maximize financial results by identifying poor-performing parts of the operation and coaching towards improved efficiency.
  • Define and oversee competency and training goals/programs for the condition monitoring engineers and analysts to grow their capability.
  • Produce consolidated Weekly Operations Reports. Report KPIs and performance analysis.

Essential

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5 years of experience in an Oil & Gas Service Industry
  • Experience in Field Service of Drilling Rigs & Equipment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5 years of Field Service Experience with NOV equipment and 3 years in Supervisory role
  • Experience in working within the MENA region
  • Arabic Language proficiency
