Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Aircraft Catering Company. In this role you will be responsible to implement and follow the latest Food Safety standards in the industry. Works with a team to establish a robust system which will be internationally certified through an accredited body. Implements process and procedures in tandem with all departments and will hold all documents for timely review.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

  • As a part of QA team, will work towards implementing an effective HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan with complete SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and PRPs (Pre-Requisite Programmes) to implement a robust Food safety Management system in line with international standards.
  • To compare SOPs with the current work flow and make it easy to understand and implement by different sections.
  • Responsible for documentation and storage of all SOP and Manuals which is an integral part of any external audit to confirm a robust and active system is in place.
  • Play a major role in achieving accreditation of ISO 22000 to improve the credibility of QACC in International market.
  • Will represent Management and QA during a customer Audit to justify the implementation of SOPS as per process flow.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure supplier understands and improves Food safety standard to the requirement of QACC.
  • Play a major role in achieving accreditation of ISO 22000 to improve the credibility of QACC in International market.
  • To achieve ISO certification, will conduct Gap analysis audit to identify gaps in the current process and the system implemented.
  • Will work towards improving SOPs based on the changes in work process after proper analysis on the impact on Food safety.
  • Provide training to upgrade information and awareness on the Food safety system.

About you:

You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of job related experience. It is highly beneficial if you have worked in a large catering environment or a five star hotel and have knowledge and adherence of HACCP Policy and Standard Quality Procedures.

It is preferred if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing Quality Management System in a Flight Catering / Food production industry.
  • Certified as Lead Auditor and ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
  • Should be excellent in IT Skills MS Office for handling excel, word and power point presentation.
