We are currently hiring a Procurement Officer with Facility Management Background.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop purchasing strategies and identify buying trends to keep the business profitable.
- Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price and delivery.
- Negotiate policies and contracts with suppliers.
- Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts.
- Keep detailed records and prepare and submit required reports.
- Maintain professional relationships will all suppliers.
- Enforce procurement procedures and processes.
- Attend Exhibitions and vendors interviews to stay informed about changes and advancement in the industry.
- Assess and evaluate new vendors before listing in the approved vendor list
- Assist in the events, maintenance work and new projects if required.
- Help budgeting and forecasting expenses.
