Sales Engineer – Middle East & India

As a member of the Sales Engineering Department, the Sales Engineer will working closely with the Motorola Solutions (Pelco, Avigilon, ACM & IndigoVision) Sales Team.

Job Description

As a member of the Sales Engineering Department, the Sales Engineer will work closely with the Middle East Motorola Sales Team to develop and position solutions involving Avigilon, Pelco, IndigoVision and ACM products. The Sales Engineer is responsible for technical aspects of the sales process and works closely with the Sales Department to develop and position solutions involving Avigilon, Pelco, IndigoVision and ACM products.

During the needs analysis process, confirm that products meet the prospect’s requirements and assist in technical qualifications. Throughout the proposal process, articulate the technology and demonstrate solutions to both business and technical users. Position our products relative to competition and formulate system designs that conform to both technical and budgetary requirements.

During the acceptance and deployment process, provide on-site support for integration, troubleshooting, and training. Work together with technical support staff in assisting clients post- purchase to ensure the highest in customer satisfaction.

Preference would be given to people with a technical college degree.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Effectively disseminate product knowledge by providing thorough training to Sales Team
  • Articulate the technology and demonstrate differentiated value propositions to both business and technical prospects
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and lead technical discussions
  • Support Sales Team in responding to RFP’s and designing, specifying, and quoting systems
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Extensive travel to provide on-site support for integration, troubleshooting, and training
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support team in providing post-sales support to customers
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to properly manage time and tasks
  • Handle technical setup for events such as seminars, roadshows and exhibitions
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Engineering at a technology company
  • 4+ years experience in the Middle East market
  • Preferably located in Doha, Qatar
  • Engineering College degree or diploma
  • Strong technical understanding of the video surveillance and access control market
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • A self-motivated and focused individual with a passion for technology and an aptitude for customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good communication skills in Arabic is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Has a pleasant, friendly style of verbal and written communication
  • Driving License and Car are a must
