Job Description

We are currently seeking for a skilled and dynamic Payroll and Benefits Specialist who will be responsible for the management of the end to end payroll coordination, benefits administration, management and reporting.

Our ideal candidate must have a sharp knowledge and established skill set in terms of efficient end to end management of payroll activities, job evaluation, benefits administration, policies and procedures, auditing and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Payroll Management and Benefits Administration:

  • Liaise with Employee Administration team to maintain receiving clear records for employees’ attendance, leaves and ensure accurate processing for these data.
  • Ensure the payment of pension contribution for the Qatari employees.
  • Calculate and update in employee records with any special payments calculations
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness in preparation, vetting and approval of payrolls ensuring payment of correct salaries.
  • Ensure correct submission of end of service related payments ensuring that the loans if any are duly neutralized before affecting final payments.
  • Process monthly payroll for salaries and allowances in coordination with Finance department, as well as maintain and update employee benefits records, loans, expenses and any other employee’s related payments and coordinate with Finance Department to ensure that the costing details are reconciled correctly with the general ledger.

Policies & Procedures Implementation:

  • Review Compensation & Benefits policies, procedures, practices, standards and guidelines in alignment with global best practice, EAA goals and Qatar government guidelines.
  • Continuously review Compensation & Benefits policy areas from HR Policy and recommend suggestions for improvements to Line Manager.
  • Ensure Compensation & Benefits policy areas are always updated with latest trends and leading practices.

Annual objectives & Periodical Reporting:

  • Consciously work to accomplish all the annual objectives and submit periodical reports as required for Management reviews.

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field & minimum of at least 5 to 7 years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Graduate degree preferred

  • Oracle Experience/ERP
  • Ability to analyze factual data and numbers, draw conclusions and make recommendations as necessary
