Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creating shipping/delivery routes and schedules
  • Perform follow up and tracking activities to determine shipment status
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
  • Reviewing shipping documents to ensure accuracy and issuance of delivery order on timely basis
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Be flexible and ready to accept more challenging or assigned tasks
  • Good collaboration and team work abilities
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Receive and prepare items to be shipped, obtaining their dimensions
  • Determine shipping methods and routes from pick-up location to final destination
  • Advise clients on transportation and payment options
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other required shipping documents
  • Record information such as cargo amount, weight, dimensions, time of shipment
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Coordinating with the airlines with the rates and shipment related inquires
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

Requirements and skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of customs procedures
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field is a plus
  • Excellent English communications skills
