Job Description

About the role:

In this interesting role, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Excellence and Customer Service Manager in the designing, planning, development and implementation of all the organizations marketing strategies and marketing communications, both internally and externally.

The job holder directly contributes to the delivery of the unit’s revenue targets by active involvement in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for existing and new markets.

To achieve success in this role you will need to:

  • Manage marketing content on social media (corporate website, Yammer, intranet, LinkedIn).
  • Generate, edit, publish and share periodic content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Oversee design and cooperate with Creative Teams to come up with graphic designs and promotional materials.
  • Responsible for implementing marketing strategies to deliver successful local, regional and global market level.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
  • Planning and delivery of marketing initiatives that will drive and achieve the revenue budgets, department objectives and KPls.
  • Responsible for the effective utilization of resources and marketing management processes ensuring full support is delivered to the wider team in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to marketing and commercial strategy and ensuring that marketing activities are performed to plan and budget.
  • Manage and guide the markets in the creation, implementation and measurement of comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the organization’s image and position; and all internal and external regional marketing and communications activities and materials including brand and retail campaigns, media relations, sales literature etc.
  • Guide the markets on the articulation of organization’s desired global image and position at a local level.
  • Guide the markets in the development of target-oriented campaigns assisting with the interpretation of customer trends and market intelligence.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to uphold consistency and positioning across all constituencies and brand touch points.
  • Regularly monitor brand perceptions, competitors and market trends across the region and translating these insights into working marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute marketing projects and events.
  • Source and share market research, insight and trends that will improve the quality of the campaigns delivered in the region.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
  • Develop and manage insightful reporting and analysis tools in order to deliver required information and feedback to relevant business units on all marketing and communications activities conducted within the region.

About you:

You should have at least a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field and 5 years of job-related experience.

It is preferred if you have had experience in an agency environment/corporate with digital as well as traditional marketing and a good understanding of catering services.

In addition, it is preferred if you have the blow:

  • 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using analytics software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
