Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend to all requests with immediate demands from vessel/clients and ensure timely delivery of the ship chandlery materials
  • Assist Purchase Coordinator on the ground in locating suppliers that meet immediate demands
  • Negotiate and purchase materials from local market (cash purchases)
  • Submit invoices to the Purchase Coordinator
  • Coordinate with the Storekeeper to ensure proper documents are in place prior to urgent deliveries to vessel
  • Assist Store personnel and Operation Assistants in arranging material in the store for deliveries
  • Timely deliver materials to the clients/vessels via Company Van/Bus
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
