As a Lead Quality & compliance officer, you will be responsible to support and enable the Cargo Operations management to achieve objectives associated with Audits through maintenance of the organization’s suite of manuals associated with Operations, Safety, Security and Quality so that QAS Cargo achieves 100% conformance and compliance.
- You would have to manage the expectations of Audits by the representatives of client airlines who come to Doha to perform Operational audits on QAS Cargo.
- Conduct compliance checks and risk analysis of not taking instant corrective action when receiving Incident Reports, through creation of reactive Temporary Instructions being distributed, until the new procedure can be included in the relevant manual and convert non-conformance and non-compliance issues into improved procedures and more effective checklists.
- Planning, preparation, observation and reporting, to support the communication and implementation of new policies, guidelines and procedures, for new products and in order to raise the standards of working practice of the department through implementation of professional SMS and QMS, EMS programs.
- Keep all operational standards & procedures Manuals up-to-date with amendments and temporary instructions whilst sharing best practices.
To be eligible for this role you have to hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience mainly Audit experience in ISO, ISAGO and IOSA; have knowledge of the airline cargo industry; have knowledge of IATA CIEV and/or IENVA.
You should also have experience in business continuous programs, experience in using QMS framework – Revision, communication and updating of Safety, Environment, Performance management systems; be aware of usage of problem-solving tools like CAPA.
Excellent command of English language; Organizational & project planning skills; strong Training & Coaching skills are essential requirements for this role.
