Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Coordinate and negotiate rates with our contracted vendors
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
  • Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
  • Contribute and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
  • Meet compliance at all times
  • Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
  • Work with team to meet KPI standards in accordance with Company procedures
  • Assist in retention calls and complete customer reviews
  • Ensure company credit procedures are followed and utilized effectively
  • Participate in the transition of new business/update to existing business

Qualifications

  • 2 years of industry-specific qualification
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • Fluent in English
