Pearling Season International School are seeking to appoint a qualified Head of Arabic with Secondary experience to join our school, with experience teaching in the British system. Candidates currently living in Qatar with experience of a Qatari MOEHE curriculum are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • BA in Arabic / Islamic Studies or BA Degree with PGCE
  • Experience teaching the Qatari MOEHE curriculum
  • Previous experience working with students whom English is not their first language
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background
