About The Role

You will be responsible for all activities of a particular function under Invoice to Pay, including but not limited to, Invoice Processing, Payments, Query Management, Vendor Reconciliation, Quality control & Reporting, etc. in line with company policies and procedures. The role will act as a second level reviewer (performing the role of ‘checker’ in the ‘maker-checker’ concept) in a largely transaction processing oriented function that Invoice to Pay is currently overseeing.

You Will Possess

  • A minimum of 4 year specialist of job-related experience required.
  • Experience of working within a global organisation
  • Professional experience in a similar position in a multicultural environment with a rich mix of supply partners with basic awareness of Shared Service centre models and industries such as: Airline, Cargo, Catering, Tourism, Ground Handling, Retail, Food & Beverage, etc
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and technologies such as: Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft AX, Navision, Customer Relationship Management (CRMs), Vendor Reconciliation systems, Dashboards and reporting (eg: Tableau / Power BI), bank portals, optical character recognition (OCR), etc
  • Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization up to senior levels, and to develop valued relationships with Managers and Candidates alike
  • Politically savvy, flexible and with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities and objectives
  • Able to model desired behaviours in a corporate environment
  • Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before any impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
  • Command of English language
  • Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
