About the job


You will be Thales Field Services Engineer based in QATAR and the local expert for the Thales C4I system in front of the end-users.

Your missions will be to ensure the required technical support and when possible the ‘On the Job Training’. In addition to your technical expertise, it will be desirable to be customer-oriented in order to contribute to a sustainable customer satisfaction

Roles & Responsibilities

As a member of Thales Project team, you shall also report to the Project Manager based in France.

As Field Services Engineer, you will be the correspondent of the project directly in contact with the end-user.

Your Responsibilities Shall Be Based On The Following

  • You will be in charge to provide a daily technical support on C4I system to our customers,
  • You will be in charge to provide on the job training for operation and maintenance :
  • To set-up the C4I system inside the vehicle and the Training Center,
  • To support when requested the End-User during the preparation and the execution of live deployment of its vehicles,
  • You will be attuned to the customer, maintain good relations between the customer and Thales and be a proactive in the reporting of risks of dissatisfaction,
  • You will support the Project by its report and analyses,
  • You will work closely and establish a teaming with Thales radio expert based in Qatar,
  • You will build adequate tutorial to transmit to end-user the best practices to operate and maintain the delivered C4I system.

Technical Competence


  • Advanced knowledge in :
  • Network technology (LAN, IP, routing, NAT, …),
  • Tactical radio,
  • Troubleshooting methodology on SW system.
  • Required knowledge/skills in :
  • Writing tutorials and training supports,
  • Mastering IT technology from Operating System to Application,
  • Pedagogy

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements

Engineer or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information or related field or equivalent work experience
