Facility Manager / Property Manager

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool.

The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the property shape as per the company’s standards.
  • Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.)
  • Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards and to stay in shape
  • Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovation
  • Reviewing utility consumption and strive to minimize cost
  • Supervising all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.)
  • Arranging agreements with external contractors once required and follow up on their scope
  • Customer Oriented and can handle tenants complaints
  • Controlling activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc.
  • Allocating office space according to needs
  • Handling insurance plans and service contracts
  • Keeping financial and non-financial records

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a facilities manager or property manager
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking
  • BS/BA in facility management, business administration or relevant field
  • Knowledge in hard and soft services.

Experience:

Facilities Management: 8 years (Preferred)

Education:

Bachelor’s (Required)

License:

Qatari Residence ID plus NOC (Required)

Qatari Driving License Plus Car (Required)

Language:

Arabic (Required)

English- Fluently (Required)
