Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

You will be a Pre-sales Engineer with a consistent track record in the preparing Cost-sheet, Validating the Tender / Maintenance, Call-out, Support Services Specifications, designing the ELV systems, (Fire, BMS, ACS, BGM / Security systems (ACS, CCTV, Testing and Commissioning of Security system, ELV / ICT / IoT systems (Public Addressable), IPTV, Digital Signage, GRMS – Guest Room Management systems, Lighting control systems, Disable toilet system, Mass notification system, Audio visual, Command & Control systems, knowledge on cloud services / managed services offering approach. Unified Telecommunications that include Radio devices PTT & Tetra, Network ICT with design estimation validating the supplier quotation and negotiation with offer & costing preparation.

  • To initiate pre-sales activities, consulting services and products, reach-out to suppliers for quotations and preparing the scope-of-work for sub-contractors’ efforts for support & Maintenance Services and suppliers Request for Quotations.
  • To log inquiries, proposals, and tenders into database, preparing the tender responses documents, technical compliance statements, reviewing the project/maintenance requirements and response.
  • To analyze bid/tender requirements and define the most suitable solution (product, architecture, system) and deliverables according to the requirements, Value-propositioning, system optimization.
  • To study and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications prepare the capacity sizing on the system design.
  • To compare studies based on supplier’s quotations in technical, commercial and with their terms & conditions with the logistics plans.
  • To develop cost estimation. With risk mitigations. Highlighting the qualifications.
  • To comply with Siemens Bid Approval process including risk evaluation to the satisfaction of the internal and external stakeholders.
  • To manage current and previous estimations on Services & Maintenance and system offerings with Call-off requirements.
  • To work closely with Bid Manager and sales team on the commercial offering.
  • To liaise with Sales Managers to ensures Bid success (commercial, time, quality) and conversion to Customer Orders.
  • To promote Siemens Services. Meeting consultants, Customers, and Contractor’s. for Technical workshops. For presenting the system capabilities and proposed solutions.
  • Product level Certifications are essentials as part of CV submission. Understanding the protocol level understanding and designing / Build solutions with interface protocols on protocol, on BACnet, KNX, any ICT (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE / IT (Microsoft / IOT) IT certifications Added advantage. AV Certifications, QCDD certifications (preferred), UPDA certification (Must), Modbus, OPC’s, IEC 61850, TCP/IP, Onvif, SNMP.

Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital And Solid!

 

  • Expected degree qualification/major in Electrical/ Electronic or relevant major
  • Relevant year of experience: 5 ~ 8 Years
  • Knowledge of expertise: MS Office, AutoCAD, MS project,
  • Any required certification: UPDA,
  • Personal skills: Essential Team player, Effective Communication skills, technical know-how on ELV / ICT systems, performance centric, Initiative (ownership mode), Commercial Awareness, Customer Focus, Efficiency.
  • Language skills: English, (Arabic would be +)
  • Additional Requirement: Valid Qatar Driving License +
