We are looking for a Digital Product Engineer for one of our Clients :

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: 24 Months

Work Schedule: Resident, Single

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 10 years’ experience as part of an Oil & Gas organization
• Strong knowledge on IS domains as network, systems, applications and databases including advanced level knowledge of SQL query.
• Strong understanding of business and technical domain (Field Operations, Engineering, Reservoir and Geoscience, Drilling)
• Expert on Agile methodology
• Ability to document Digital requirements
• Successful track record of developing and delivering products within deadlines, agreed scope and budget
• Expert in relevant digital products development in the O&G industry
• Project management capabilities
• Approachable and a team player with a pragmatic attitude and ability to withstand work pressure.
• Ability to multitask and support changes.
• Fluent in English both spoken & written,
• Excellent inter-personal skills

ACTIVITIES

• Design and manage Product Vision and Requirements Document – detailed description of product technical requirements in accordance with Product Owners for the Use Cases affected by Petroleum application solutions
• Review Digital use case technical proposals and perform the technical assessments
• Provide Level 3 Expertise Support for the use cases within PAP application landscape
• Drive internal and external teams (e.g., developers, UX/UI) regarding needs of product, priorities and
• timeline for deliverables, and solutions within the area of Petroleum applications.
• Drive the process for decision making / risk mitigation for Digital use cases within Petroleum Application portfolio
• Create and maintaining up-to-date records of documentation such as interface visuals, service matrix, service catalogue, SOP, etc.
• Align and coordinate with application SMEs on the key architecture and implementation principles for Digital use cases within Petroleum Application portfolio
• Plan for Petroleum Application resources needed to reach use case objectives and coordinate allocation in an effective and efficient manner taking into account existing and planned workload from other activities
• Track overall progress, performance and milestones achievement, make adjustments as needed
• Responsible for day-to-day coordination of backlog priorities and tasks related to Digital use cases within Petroleum Application portfolio
• Ensure timely and high-quality product launches according to original plans and expectations
• Work closely with the Petroleum Application and implementation teams throughout the development process
• Drive technical training, change management and make sure adoption is successful across user base for the UC within Petroleum Application portfolio.
• Plan and manage budgetary objectives for use cases within Petroleum Application portfolio
• Implement new solutions adapted to the business needs that respect IS quality standards, IS rules and are cost efficient.
• Liaise with IS teams and vendors to define architectural design of the new use cases.
