Our Client is looking to hire a Deputy Maintenance Manager who will work directly at their clients Museum facility, based in Doha. This role will be responsible for all matters relating to the maintenance and facilities contract, representing the service provider directly on the client’s site. The Deputy Maintenance Manager will have the ability to lead technical root cause investigations and elaborate detailed technical reports, whilst implementing maintenance and facilities procedures, in line with operating manuals and systems. In conjunction, this mid-level role will be a point of contact with the client and offer consultative support in the form of face to face meetings / presentations, discussing the performance of the contract, offering timely solutions as and when required. This role will liaise with customers and operations staff, whilst managing stock of supplies, tools and equipment, collaborating with Health and Safety departments to ensure safe working practices are adhered to. Due to the demands of the project, this opportunity will be a six-day working week.
The client will look to recruit a Senior Maintenance professional whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record for minimum of 10 years in a similar Deputy / Managerial position, for a regional or international Facilities Management company within the GCC region. The successful candidate will have essential experience of Museum facilities and operations, relative to MEP humidity and climate control. The candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess and understanding in CAFM systems and BIM modelling. Spoken and Written English language to a professional / fluent level is essential for this role. Candidates with relevant GCC experience will be considered as a priority.
