About the job

  • Candidates must have Audit and/or Finance, and/or Cooperate Governance experience
  • No secretaries, only board secretaries are preferred, preferably working in a listed company
  • Ensure that the Board Secretary receives sufficient support and advice related to the Board to ensure the smooth operation of the board, committees, and associated meetings.
  • Assist the Office Manager in ensuring that the operations of the office and Shareholder’s relation are working smoothly and comply with relevant internal policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for the executive office (Chairman). The primary contact is the Office Manager.
  • Ensure that shareholder-related transactions are processed properly and answer all shareholders’ queries and questions, as requested from time to time.
  • Ensure company’s compliance with corporate governance regulations with regards to the Board
  • Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Strong knowledge of data recording and management methods, tools and related techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional

Experience:

Minimum 3 – 5 years applicable experience

Computer Skills:

Good knowledge of office and web applications

Language Skills:

Fluent Arabic & Business/Legal English
