About the role

As a Recruitment Planning Officer, you shall provide administrative support and planning for all Qatar Airways Cabin Crew recruitment campaigns. Will be involved in planning, coordinating, executing and organization of all logistical and operational aspects of campaigns by ensuring its success and seamless flow of operations.

Your operational role includes:

Effectively coordinate all Cabin Crew recruitment campaigns on a periodic basis by making venue arrangements, recruiter’s accommodation provisions and ensuring that adequate resources such as forms, handouts, laptops and stationary is provided to ensure smooth operations of the campaign.

Ensure and oversee that proper advertising and marketing of the event is carried out prior to the scheduled date to maximise candidate turn out.

Responsible to arrange for advertising and all other requirements by contacting advertising agencies, recruitment agencies or training schools / academies in order to recruit the best available talent in the destination country.

Efficiently assist the recruiters / ambassadors to obtain necessary approvals on duty travel aspects and travel logistics including but not limited to arranging visa, flight bookings, hotel stays, receiving approvals for exit permits and allowances.

Assist with all financial activity related to the recruitment campaign including but not limited to approval and facilitation of invoices / purchase orders, credit card statements and oracle approval including collection of required documentation and following up through clearance of payments process.

Maximise candidate turnout for planned recruitment drives by publishing event details on job boards / social media, QR career website or other available media sources approved by the Company while monitoring and administering all information that is posted is authentic and has received prior approval to be published.

Facilitate interview logistics for required candidates / referred candidates by arranging visa, hotel stay, tickets or providing allowances as and when required.

Recording and monitoring monthly expense reports / budgets for Cabin Crew Recruitment.

Assist with projects related to observing and recording competitor airline recruitment schedules / activities

Create and implement campaign plans and define problems by, interpreting data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and provide suggestions on how to reduce cost and upsurge campaign efficiency.

Assist with roster plotting and planning for the Cabin Crew Recruitment team in order to facilitate coverage of duties both in the office and recruiters on duty travel ensuring highest level of staff utility and maximising productivity while maintaining appropriate rest and working hour’s legality.

Assist to consolidate manpower requirements for Cabin Crew in the form of a manpower plan, based on discussion and inputs from Department Managers regarding for cabin crew exits and promotions and assist to incorporate manpower requirement projections for annual manpower budget.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

A degree in the holder in human resources, management, marketing or equivalent professional qualification

Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources or Management, preferred.

It is essential to have:

A minimum of 4 years of job-related experience in a multinational environment preferably in the airline industry to be able to perform.

Proven experience of demonstrating accountability in managing effective working relationships.

Previous experience with Cabin Crew Recruitment or Aviation Recruitment.

Proven ability to work under pressure to defined tight timescales and budget.

Exposure to HR systems is essential.

Strong interactions with client area with proven influencing experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and team working skills.

Well-developed lateral and analytical skills.

Must have the initiative to solve recruitment problems constantly interacting with Recruitment Specialist, line departments and the candidates.

Good knowledge and experience of QR Cabin Crew Recruitment requirements, Preferred
