About the role

As a Candidate Services Officer you will support for Cabin Crew of Qatar Airways, which includes onboarding procedures for selected candidates. Involved in planning, coordinating, executing and organization of all logistics and operational aspects of on-boarding by ensuring its success and seamless flow of operations. Provide key supervision, guidance and support to teams of on-boarding coordinators in areas of work. Accountable for the consistent delivery of key services, quality control, implementation of standard practices.

Your operational role includes:

  • Communicate QR Group standards onboarding services to the team and ensure consistent implementation.
  • Resolve data entry inconsistencies, suggest mechanism to reduce error and escalate repetitive issue.
  • Efficiently coordinate with candidates joining as Cabin Crew on a daily basis.
  • Assist candidates to effectively ensure they provide documents in order to submit pre- employment medicals, important documents and related clearances to a specific country/nationality, reference check, and airline certificate of employment.
  • Efficiently provide assistance to candidates to obtain necessary travel logistics including but not limited to arranging visa, flight rout, joining cargo. Undertake necessary reimbursements to joining staff, such as cargo and airline ticket, if applicable.
  • Monitor candidate progress from providing joining requirements. Ensure joining formalities are efficiently completed at any point of time.
  • Deliver regular reports from Cabin Crew recruitment tracker on the progress of the candidate status and provide necessary information to stakeholders and the Recruitment team.
  • Regularly communicate with candidates to maintain updated and build rapport with joining Cabin Crew.
  • Minimize the number of withdrawn applications by ensuring that the on boarding process is seamless and by ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Communicate/coordinate weekly updates of AB Plan intake or as and when required by stakeholders – Cabin Services Team, Manpower Planning and Analysis Team and other stakeholders involved in managing new Cabin Crew.
  • Maintain and monitor Cabin Crew Experience for fast Track Promotion Program.
  • Ensure all onboarding systems are updated according to Cabin Services Recruitment SOPs.
  • Contribute to Cabin Services Recruitment team projects.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have a relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of job-related experience

  • Preferably, a degree holder in Human Resources, Management, Marketing.
  • Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources or Management.
  • It is essential to have:
  • Experience in a multinational environment preferably in the airline industry
  • Proven experience of demonstrating accountability in managing effective working relationships
  • Previous experience with Cabin Crew Recruitment or Aviation Recruitment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to defined tight timescales and budget
  • Exposure to HR systems is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • Must have the initiative to solve recruitment problems constantly interacting with Recruitment Specialist, line department and the candidates
  • Good knowledge and experience of QR Cabin Crew Recruitment requirements
