About the role

You will have to oversee a variety of Cabin Services-related processes specific to Cabin Crew Operations and act as the focal point for customer service recovery.

Operational role includes:

Provide necessary support services to aid Crew Operations during pre-departure and post- arrival sessions by providing necessary information and related documents, forms to the Cabin Senior / Cabin Service Director.

Ensure that assigned flights are complemented with the correct crew compliment for respective cabins are of the relevant grade and have undergone appropriate training for specific destinations etc.

Liaise with Crew Control to resolve discrepancies to rectify crew compliment or other issues before check-in process commences.

Oversee crew check-in procedures to ensure that crew have completed on boarding processes for their designated flights as per agreed timelines and SOP’s.

Oversee other functions of crew such as transportation delays, no shows, unexpected sickness or no shows, etc. arrange to resolve issues within stipulated timelines before flight departure.

Prepare communication reports, memos and other information relevant to the flight and hand over to Cabin Senior / Cabin Service Director prior to departure of said flights.

Respond to crew queries telephonically, through email or verbally and assist them by providing information or resolving issues, action crew sickness and other Cabin Crew Operational requests as per company policy.

Initiate appropriate action and counter measure procedures in the event of operational irregularities such as inability to procure flight related documents due to system failure, crew compliment unavailability, etc.

Collect data based on information available and create reports on typical trends and issues, provide feedback and suggestions to the Line Manager in order to improve processes.

About you

A successful candidate will have –

Relevant College or University qualification at Bachelor’s level or equivalent.

This position requires you to have 5 years of overall Cabin Crew flying experience with a minimum of 1 year in a Supervisory role.

Preferred

  • Experience as a Cabin Crew Operations Officer or equivalent in a legacy airline will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in a training or a coaching role in a service related industry.
