This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.

Job Scope

  • Develop and execute plans, delivering sales volume targets, while securing Company Commercial brand share growth within the client business
  • Identify sales leads and opportunities in alignment and within the client business,
  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met
  • Maintain in-depth industry knowledge and product expertise to support Company business goals and objectives
  • Foster productive relationships at all critical levels and key linkages with Company and partner organizations
  • Develop and support strategies to capitalize on emerging customer needs and marketplace trends.
  • Meet all performance and financial budget requirements


  • Demonstrated sales performance track, driving results with ability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams and in matrix environments
  • Proven ability to translate and implement strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisions to successful and desired outcome
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships at all levels, including executive management

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Professional college degree required; University degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years business sales or client development experience in commercial payments or related B2B industries
  • Demonstrated experience in selling complex solutions or B2B product consulting with deal leadership experience
  • Exceptional ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
  • Well-developed Corporate Card & /or market knowledge
  • Demonstrable influencing, advisory skills and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint

Major Accountabilities

  • Revenue growth
  • Recognized as the Corporate Cards sales expert
  • Understanding of competitors offering and sharing knowledge with product & sales teams
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities moving them through the sales / program optimization cycle

Key Stakeholders/Business Relationships

  • Cards Product Management Team
  • Corporate Banking Client Management and BDM’s
  • Business Banking Distribution teams
  • C’ Suite, Treasurers and Finance staff in corporate, institutional and business banking clients
  • External suppliers
