MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Marketing/ Pharmaceutical).

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing role as a medical representative or similar role. (Preferably with Online Pharma business).
  • GCC experience will be an added advantage.

Key Expectations

  • Strong understanding of E-commerce Industry’s best-practices and marketing techniques.
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues.
  • Able to work efficiently in Excel and other office applications.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
  • Customer focused, with good written communication skills.
  • Analytical mind-set and critical thinking.
  • Excellent teamwork and networking skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Meet established sales goals and market share by utilizing effective sales techniques in order to influence targeted physicians and hospitals.
  • Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to explain our brand and online application utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.
  • Represents the enterprise at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promotes new and existing programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest medical data.
  • Promote our online application & products ethically and within compliance based on company’s sales process and approved marketing strategy.
  • Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date call records for physicians and other key customers.
  • Develop and maintain a positive business climate.
  • Regularly monitoring business plans and ensure its achievement consistently.
  • Analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Monitor competitor activity and competitors’ products.
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.
  • Understanding the macro shifts in how patients / doctors access information via different digital channels in Qatar, predicting trends and submitting reports on the same.
  • Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
  • Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
  • Develops and manages annual sales and operating budgets, and regularly monitors performance to budget parameters.
