We are hiring a passionate and reliable individual who is focused on quality output, with critical thinking abilities to initiate and act. You will be a part of the HR Transformation function, supporting Business Intelligence Manager in a recently established team tasked with an exciting mission – (1) centralize HR data across all HR business functions and over a variety of robust HR systems, (2) structure the data in a data warehouse and (3) provide insightful information out of the data to assist on the important decision-making front. Other tasks (as instructed by the Head of HR’s PMO and/or CPO) are always possible, but we promise equally exciting projects that will have the positive impact on the overall wellbeing of over 50,000 employees (yes, five followed by four more zeros!)

Some of your responsibilities in a day to day work will include:

  • Consolidate the data from various sources and transform the data into well-structured information (Oracle, SQL);
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and statistics to transform the information further into knowledge that can then be interpreted and will influence/support the data-driven decision-making (MS Excel Power Queries, Pivots and Macros together with other tools);
  • Produce reports and dashboards to present the HR data for a variety of Executives, Team Leads and individual end users (Power BI, Tableau);
  • Work on the development of HR’s data warehouse, including (but not limited to) deriving standards for quality data input and automation;
  • Be proactive in investigating and recommending ways to improve an all data-related matters – (capturing, measuring, visualizing, automating etc.) for internal efficiency and stakeholder communication;
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, promoting the use of analytics and increase evidence-based decisions in HR processes, programs, and policies;
  • Identify key metrics and/or indicators to monitor HR organizational health and performance of strategic/workforce plans in alignment with business strategy;
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative opportunity assessments within all areas of HR (e.g. Compensation, Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Learning, Employee Surveys, Benefit Plans, Leadership Effectiveness, etc.);
  • Act as an “internal consultant” by understanding business needs, finding ways to synthesize insights and recommend solutions;
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our HR – Management team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) oriented towards Mathematics, Statistics, Computer/Data Science, Engineering or Economics;
  • Minimum 4 years of job-related experience, with large-scale, complex datasets with an emphasis on data reporting and analytics;
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with data reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and productivity tools (MS Excel Power Queries);
  • Your critical thinking skills are at high level. You are very comfortable with numbers, statistics and data modelling tools with an “eye for details”;
  • Able to develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions where you can elaborate complexed relations in simple terms to your audience;
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment as a strong team-player that is willing to help other team members at all times;
  • Not afraid to voice out your opinion that is always based on facts arising from analysis.

Candidates With The Below Will Be Treated Preferably

  • Experience with complex datasets is connected with people data and metrics (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics and other people analytics);
  • Experience working at a large airline or an organization with 10,000 or more FTEs, ideally in managing BI tools and/or data warehouse development projects;
  • Skilled with automation, coding and/or programming skills of data analytics interest (e.g. Python, SQL and Excel Macros)
  • The University degree is from a reputable University, as measured by Times Higher Education World University Rankings or Quacquarelli Sydmonds;
  • Additional education/certification/qualification from a reputable Certification authority oriented towards Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Mathematics or Statistics.
