We are currently hiring for a Digital Media Sales Manager for Elan Media. In this role, you will be leading the Digital Media Department and growing department’s client portfolio (both direct clients and media agencies) as well as handling all supplier relationships. You will oversee Digital Media sales and operations team.

KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all functions of the digital media department.
  • Assist in achievement of Unit sales targets as well as contribute to overall Elan Media performance.
  • Grow department’s client portfolio with direct clients and media agencies, suppliers, and all digital platforms.
  • Identify potential customers and approach them to present Elan Media capabilities and to build business fruitful relationships. In case of a strategic client importance, liaise with the CMO and Media team to develop the best client approach.
  • Manage digital media strategies on behalf of clients and media agencies offering a holistic approach of digital marketing.
  • Handle all communications with several suppliers on a strategic level ensuring best shared revenue deals for both parties.
  • Pitch for new partnerships and monitor opportunities in the market for growing the company’s portfolio.
  • Develop proposals for the potential clients that meet their needs and ensuring that terms and conditions/pricing are in line with the approved guidelines.
  • Provide ideas and recommendations to incorporate marketing effort into sales activities.
  • Manage relationships with the existing clients and coordinate resolution of any issues.
  • Analyse clients for up-selling opportunities aiming to maximize their contract value.
  • Consult clients with regards to media planning and Elan Media services applicable to their needs.
  • Implement customer loyalty strengthening programmes to ensure that clients are willing to continue business relationship with Elan Media.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales portfolio performance to the CMO.
  • Drive revenue and clients to the Elan Media portfolio, and hit all targets, monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Provide daily advice and guidance to the sales and digital operations team as well as monitor their performance ensuring it complies with the relevant policies and procedures.
  • Setting the department’s revenue targets and making sure that all efforts are made for the goals to be met.
  • Monitor department’s net profit and ensuring all efforts are made to maximize profit opportunities.
  • Responsible for monitoring digital operations in setting all campaigns across various platforms, in a way that both the client’s need and Elan’s profit KPIs are met.
  • Contribute towards people development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.

PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Above 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in supervisory designations
  • Very good knowledge of sales and account management concepts
  • Solid understanding of Elan Media services, products, and offerings
  • Good understanding of CRM tools and their application
  • Very good understanding of, and relationships with MENA, UAE and KSA media agencies and direct clients
  • Technical skills for selling Online media
  • Knowledge of, and experience of Ad Serving technologies
  • Up to date knowledge of the Digital Marketing industry
