(Some Of) What You Will Be Doing

  • Analyze market trends to identify emerging products and brands in the pet essentials market
  • Curate a diverse and appealing selection of pet essentials products, including food, litter, accessories, and more
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales in the Pets category.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling promotional campaigns and advertising materials.
  • Analyze sales data to understand customer preferences and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback, using insights to improve product selection and presentation.
  • Ensure accurate and attractive product listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Address customer queries and issues related to the Pets category, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners while seeking new potential partnerships.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
  • Conduct regular analysis of the Pet market to identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, customer service, and IT, to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Uphold high-quality standards across all pet essentials products.

Attitude matters most but do you have any of these?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any related field would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a veterinary clinic or pet essential retail is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for the pet industry and a keen eye for trends.
