Your day-to-day:

  • Provide visionary leadership to the culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration.
  • Design and execute innovative menus that align with the hotel’s culinary philosophy and standards.
  • Create and update menus for all venues, ensuring a diverse range of high-quality dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Team to develop seasonal menus and special event offerings.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently met.
  • Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular kitchen inspections.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage kitchen schedules, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and manage the kitchen budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining cost controls.
  • Stay abreast of culinary trends, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.
  • Continuously seek ways to elevate the culinary experience and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests.
  • Respond promptly to guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance satisfaction.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar establishment.
  • Arabic Cuisine experience is mandatory
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to create and execute innovative and appealing menus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
