Venue Technology Manager will be assigned to each location where the stadium and locations are present. VTM will have the overall responsibility for all HC IT infrastructure within the location. These individuals should have strong managerial and people skills as well as strong project management and planning skills. They will be required to interface with venue managers and owners, hotels, airports, etc. to ensure that all location’s IT infrastructure needs are met.
VTM will be the primary point of contact for HC ICT management and will be required to plan projects, monitor status and raise any issues with any of the Venue Locations to management.
During the Event period, this individual will be the primary IT responsible person and will be required to interface with Q22, TDO ICT and FIFA IT management to ensure that all HC IT needs are met.
Responsibilities also include managing all IT support personnel, including volunteers, who are working to support the event.
Planning and coordination activities to ensure all Venue Locations including the offices, stadium, hotels, airports, etc. have the necessary IT Infrastructure in place
Management of all HC ICT venue support staff
Interfacing with all necessary individuals and companies required to implement IT infrastructure
Planning all of the physical spaces that will have IT equipment deployed
Support all Venue Event locations during Event periods
Monitoring and tracking issues and risks to ensure that they are resolved
Participation in all venue inspectionsResponsible for tracking all of the IT assets provided to the venue. This includes accepting deliveries, tracking inventory, securing the assets, returning the assets, etc.
Responsible for management and support of IT Helpdesk function and volunteer resources supporting this activity.
